Description

Upgrade your home decor with the Diamond Chenille Throw, available in a calming blue. This throw features a diamond pattern and fringe detailing that adds a touch of sophistication and texture to your living space. Whether you drape it over your couch or use it for extra warmth with your bedding and textiles, it's a versatile accessory to suit any interior.

Our Stylist Says

The blue chenille throw is a versatile and inviting piece that adds texture and depth to a variety of interiors. Its rich hue works especially well in coastal, Scandinavian, or contemporary schemes, where subtle colour pops or soft neutrals are key. I love how the soft, plush fabric instantly elevates a sofa or bed, creating a cosy yet sophisticated look. For styling, try draping it casually over a sofa arm or layering it with patterned cushions to add interest. Practical tip: pairing it with neutral-toned furniture keeps the colour in focus, while its plush texture makes it perfect for adding comfort during colder months.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
