I’ve used the Devon bed box in Darkolino oak in both guest rooms and master suites, and its clean lines plus warm wood grain make it a versatile base for contemporary, Scandi or even minimalist interiors. The four deep drawers give ample storage without the need for extra chests, keeping the space uncluttered.
To style it, pair with crisp white or muted-tone bedding and a textured throw at the foot to highlight the oak finish. Flank with simple metal-leg bedside tables and a slim reading lamp to echo the tubular handles. Add a potted plant or a stack of design books on top to introduce a touch of personality without overloading the look.
