I’m a fan of this Devon four-drawer bed base for its clever use of under-bed space and clean Bardolino oak effect, which brings a warm but neutral tone to a room. It’s particularly well suited to Scandi-inspired, minimalist or contemporary interiors where natural wood tones and simple lines take centre stage.
To style, keep bedding in muted greys or off-white to let the oak finish shine, then add texture with a chunky throw or linen cushions. Tuck in low-profile storage boxes or woven baskets in the drawers for clothing and bedlinen, and pair with pale bedside tables and a slim metallic lamp to maintain an airy, uncluttered feel.
