The young German designer Edward Van Vliet was inspired by the archetypal shape of the pouf to create Develius, a modular sofa that’s both comfortable and refined. It stands out with the bevel cut-out of the base and its curving seat. In pure Nordic spirit, the clean lines showcase the quality of the covering. High-resilience foam with polyester padding provides excellent seating comfort. To ensure they stay perfectly in place, the different modules composing the sofa are attached to each other via metal connection elements. Hallingdal fabric: the archetype of wool pieces. This extremely resistant furniture fabric was first invented in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel. Made with wool and viscose, two components that complement each other wonderfully: the wool ensures excellent resistance and adds great suppleness, whilst the viscose adds a certain brightness and depth to the colour. These two materials are dyed before spinning, which brings out the rich texture of the fabric.
