The Air Collection by Mathieu Gustafsson for Design House Stockholm feature two sideboard and cabinet using woven rattan for a semi-transparent look that is both contemporary and retro. The collection comes in white, black or oak, all with cable management. The exterior provides a graphic pattern of ribs with natural cane inlays.

I’m a big fan of the Air sideboard for its clean white frame paired with tactile cane fronts - it brings just the right amount of warmth and texture without overpowering a room. Its lightweight appearance works equally well in Scandi-inspired living rooms, coastal retreats or a pared-back boho scheme, and the generous storage hides everyday clutter while keeping the look streamlined.
To style it, group a couple of ceramic vases and a framed print off-centre, and balance them with a low-profile tray holding candles or a small potted plant. Above, a round mirror or a simple shelf lets you lean artwork and adds height. Inside, use matching bins or woven baskets to keep bits and pieces organised and the exterior free of visual noise.
