Denby's Kiln range is a true celebration of British craftsmanship. Soft, tranquil and serene, it's designed to be subtle and embrace the link with nature and biophilic design. Each piece is finished by hand with a reactive ombre glaze which makes each item unique. This hand-poured candle has notes of bergamot and grapefruit with cleansing clary sage on a base of blonde woods and a touch of patchouli. Both beautiful and versatile, after you've enjoyed the candle the pot can be used around the home for a small plant, trinkets or a beaker for the kids. It comes gift-boxed making it a wonderful present idea. Each piece of Denby stoneware is handcrafted using pottery techniques passed down through generations and can pass through as many as 20 pairs of hands during the making process. Every item of pottery is expertly glazed by skilled craftsmen and the distinctive glazes are renowned for their practicality and durability.

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
