Description

Stylish contemporary lighting for urban households, the Delting Up and Down Outdoor Wall Light is guaranteed to give a modern feel to your outdoor lighting set up. This light features a stunning stainless steel finish and casts a beautiful glow both up and down your wall. It also comes with an inbuilt PIR sensor which detects motion outside your home, instantly triggering the light, acting as an added security measure to deter any unwanted intruders.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this outdoor wall light for its sleek, minimalist design and stainless steel finish, which makes it versatile and ideal for contemporary exteriors. Its built-in PIR sensor adds practical security, making it a smart choice for areas where function is key. It works well in modern, industrial, or even Scandinavian-inspired outdoor settings. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral-toned facades or textured stone walls to create a cohesive outdoor look. Mount it at an accessible height near entrances or pathways to optimise its sensor reach and light coverage, ensuring both security and style are covered without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
