Description

Minimalist lighting styles for modern homes with the Delting Up and Down Outdoor Wall Light with PIR Sensor. This wall light comes in a sleek anthracite finish and has a minimalist up and down light design which creates a stunning pool of light across your walls. It is also IP44 rated, allowing it to be water resistant enough to be used outdoors, and has a PIR sensor which uses infrared technology to detect motion outside of your home and trigger the light to switch on automatically.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this outdoor wall light with PIR sensor for its sleek, contemporary design, which works well in modern and minimalist exteriors. The anthracite finish is versatile, adding a touch of sophistication while being practical for hiding dirt and weathering. It’s a practical choice for enhancing security and functionality outside without clashing with existing colour schemes or architectural details. When styling, consider pairing it with clean-lined outdoor furniture and understated landscaping to create a cohesive look. Positioning it near entrances or along pathways ensures it maximises the sensor’s effectiveness while giving the space a polished, put-together feel.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
