Description

Simple but stylish lighting designs for your porch or entryway with the Delting Up and Down Outdoor Wall Light. This wall light is IP44 rated so that it is durable against outdoor weather conditions and is finished in anthracite for an urban aesthetic. It also features a minimalist design with an up and down light design, casting a stunning pool of light across your outdoor spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Delting Up and Down outdoor wall light for its sleek, modern silhouette and versatile anthracite finish. It works well in contemporary settings, providing both ambient and accent lighting, while its dual-directional design creates a balanced look on exterior walls. I’d recommend pairing it with minimalist architecture or sleek garden furniture for a cohesive style. Practical tips include using it to highlight architectural features or pathways, and ensuring it's positioned at a height that maximises its upward and downward light, creating a welcoming, well-lit entrance without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
