Price History

Description

The Decortie Sablin Oval Dining Table gives 180 cm of length and 90 cm of width without the four corners of a rectangular top, so chairs tuck in anywhere around the curve and there is nothing to catch a hip in a tight dining room. The top is cut from 25 mm board, which keeps the long span flat under a full setting of plates and dishes without a rail underneath. It stands on two solid panel legs set 86.8 cm apart rather than four corner legs, leaving both ends clear for extra seats. At 75 cm high it takes standard dining chairs.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Sablin oval table for its sleek, modern silhouette and versatile black wood finish, which makes it a great statement piece in both contemporary and minimalist interiors. Its oval shape promotes a more inclusive, sociable dining experience, while its dark tone adds a touch of sophistication without feeling heavy. This table works well paired with lighter chairs to create contrast or with matching dark pieces for a more cohesive look. Practical styling tips include adding a colourful runner or a set of textured placemats to break up the dark surface, and keeping accessories minimal to let the table’s clean lines stand out. It’s a flexible focal point that can adapt to both casual family meals and more formal dinner gatherings.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
