The Decortie Diago Wall Mounted Headboard is made for a UK king size bed, spanning 160 cm so it sits a little wider than the 150 cm mattress and reads as a deliberate panel rather than a strip behind the pillows. It hangs on the wall rather than bolting to the bed frame, so the bed can be pulled out to clean without unscrewing anything, and the fixings come in the box: a wall plug and hook plus a flat hanging bracket. The face is split on the diagonal between two wood tones, which gives the panel some pattern without any moulding or buttoning to gather dust. At 3.6 cm thick it takes almost nothing from the room and stands 74 cm high.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
