Description

Don't let the name of this hand-painted ceramic sculpture fool you: a Han foo dog technically isn't a dog – it's a lion. Inspired by the traditional Han dogs found protecting Chinese imperial palaces and places of worship, our ceramic version is finished with a celadon glaze that draws on early Chinese pottery techniques.

Our Stylist Says

This light green Chinese sculpture offers a striking focal point that works well in both modern and traditional interiors. I love how its muted colour palette and detailed craftsmanship add an authentic touch of Asian influence without overwhelming the space. It pairs beautifully with neutral tones or contrasting textures like dark woods or velvet furnishings to create depth. Practical styling tips include placing it on a console table, pedestal, or within a glass display case to highlight its details. It also works well as a standalone statement piece or as part of an eclectic collection of sculptures, adding a layer of cultural richness and visual interest to your interior.
