This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
I love the simplicity and boldness of this piece, making it a versatile addition to many interiors. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist spaces where clean lines and monochrome palettes are key, but it can also serve as a striking contrast in more eclectic or colourful rooms. The abstract nature of the artwork lends itself to various styling approaches - try pairing it with textured cushions or geometric decor for a cohesive look. Practical tip: hang it at eye level in a well-lit area, or group it with other artworks for a curated gallery vibe. This piece is a great way to add a graphic edge without overwhelming the space.
