This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
I really like no. 43 because of its minimalist yet striking geometric design, which adds visual interest without overpowering a space. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary interiors, especially when paired with neutral colour schemes, allowing the artwork to stand out. To style it effectively, consider hanging it above a simple sofa or console table to create a focal point. It also pairs nicely with other monochrome or subtle textured accessories. Keep framing minimal to enhance its clean lines, and don’t shy away from layering with smaller art pieces or decorative objects for a curated feel.
