This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
I love the bold simplicity of this piece-it’s a striking example of modern minimalism that can effortlessly enhance contemporary or urban interiors. It works well in neutral-scape rooms, acting as a focal point without overpowering other elements. For practical styling, consider pairing it with sleek furniture and understated accessories to keep the look clean and cohesive. It’s also versatile enough to complement more eclectic spaces if you want to introduce either contrasting colours or textured materials nearby. This artwork lends itself to being a subtle yet impactful statement-perfect for those who appreciate modern art with a minimalist edge.
