This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
The deconstructed no. 33 is a striking piece that works well in modern or minimalist interiors thanks to its bold geometric design and monochrome palette. I love how it adds visual interest without overwhelming a space, making it ideal as a focal point above a sofa or in a gallery wall arrangement. For practical styling, consider pairing it with understated furniture to let the artwork stand out, and use lighting that highlights its layered cut-outs-so much of its impact comes from the shadows it creates. It’s versatile enough to work in living rooms, home offices or even contemporary commercial spaces, where its architectural vibe can truly shine.
