This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
I love this piece for its minimalist yet intriguing approach-it's a modern take on abstract art that adds visual interest without overpowering a space. It works particularly well in contemporary or pared-back interiors where clean lines and neutral palettes are key. I’d suggest hanging it above a neutral sofa or console table, and if you’re feeling bold, pairing it with textured accessories or monochrome prints to create a cohesive gallery wall. Practically, it’s versatile-its neutral tones and geometric form make it suitable for a variety of colour schemes and room styles, from urban lofts to calm, Scandinavian-inspired interiors. Just ensure it’s hung at eye level for maximum impact.
