I’m a big fan of the Davenport table for its clean lines and the way the white apron and legs contrast neatly with the oak top. It sits comfortably in a range of schemes - think Scandi minimalism, modern farmhouse or a light, coastal look. To style it, try a simple linen runner down the centre, mix and match dining chairs in muted tones, and add a trio of brass or black-frame pendants above. A couple of ceramic vases with fresh greenery and a few stacked books will give it that lived-in feel without overpowering the simplicity of the design.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
