I’m a fan of this Davenport round pedestal table because its light oak top paired with soft grey legs feels fresh without overpowering a room. Its classic silhouette works equally well in a modern farmhouse kitchen or a Scandi-inspired dining corner, and the neutral finish makes it easy to layer in bolder chairs or a patterned rug. For styling, keep the tabletop clear except for a simple linen runner and a small ceramic vase of greenery to highlight the wood grain. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
