Description
The Darwin low four poster bed is a modern take on a traditional four poster bed. The Darwin four poster bed brings a sense of style and opulence to the bedroom, which is set to instantly transform your interior. This beautiful bed is exciting but timeless in its approach and so can be mixed with modern or classic pieces in a comforting space. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.
Our Stylist Says
I love this bed because of its classic yet contemporary vibe, making it very versatile for different interiors. The white finish enhances a sense of light and space, perfect for creating a calm, airy bedroom. It works particularly well in minimalist, Scandi, or coastal styled rooms, where its clean lines can be complemented with natural textures like rattan, linen, or soft pastels. For styling tips, consider adding layered bedding with cosy throws and cushions to soften the look, and pair it with light wooden or neutral-toned furniture. Placing plants nearby can also bring a touch of freshness that works beautifully with the white frame, creating an inviting, restful retreat.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
