I’ve found this dark wood and gold-accented bookcase to be both practical and stylish - it adds just the right touch of metallic without overwhelming a scheme. Its clean lines and hairpin legs suit contemporary, mid-century and even industrial interiors, while the lower doors keep everyday clutter out of sight.
For styling: mix books with decorative objects of varying heights, tuck a woven basket behind the doors for spare throws or paperwork, and dot a couple of small plants on the open shelves to soften the look. Keeping a balanced display - alternating between open and closed storage - will help it feel curated rather than crowded.
