Our Stylist Says
The Danta Antique Brass Frame is a stylish choice for adding a touch of vintage charm to a variety of interiors. I love its understated elegance and versatile size, which makes it suitable for both modern and traditional settings. It works particularly well in minimalist or industrial schemes when paired with monochrome or neutral tones, but can also add warmth to more eclectic spaces. Practical styling tips include layering multiple frames for a curated look on mantels or side tables, or using it to highlight black-and-white or sepia-toned photographs for a timeless feel. Its antique brass finish brings a subtle sophistication that can easily complement other metal accents, creating a cohesive and refined display.

About Nkuku
The Story of Nkuku
Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.
The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.
Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.
Values and Ethical Commitment
Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.
They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.
Sustainability at Its Heart
Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.
The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
