Description

The snuggle bed provides the perfect spot to snuggle down! With a spacious middle, this bed is ideal for dogs who like to lay out, whilst the low sides offer the optimum head resting space. The sides surrounding the bed also offer a cosy space to curl up for a snooze. The best of both worlds! The optimum country style, this colour woven tweed fabric is brushed for extra softness and matched with a smooth faux suede in a subtle colour. The bed is filled with a soft and fluffy polyester fibre filling which provides a lot of warmth and comfort. Made from a blend of standard and recycled PET flake, made from recycled plastic bottles which are cleansed, shredded and heated to form fibres. The filling is fire retardant to British Standard 5852.

Our Stylist Says

This dog bed is a clever choice for adding a cosy, lived-in feel to a range of interiors, especially those with a relaxed, rustic, or eclectic vibe. Its tweed fabric introduces texture and warmth, making it a versatile piece that complements neutral palettes or layered, patterned spaces. I love how the muted tones can work well alongside soft furnishings in earthy shades or aged woods. For practical styling, consider placing it in a corner near a window, topped with a throw or blanket to create an inviting nook for your pet that still looks stylish. It’s great when paired with other natural materials or vintage accessories to maintain a cohesive, cosy aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
