Description

Lampshade are a great way to spruce up your home without the expense of needing an electrician. The Dana Pastel Easyfit Shade simply attaches onto your already installed light fittings, allowing you to fit and illuminate. The lampshade is made from linen, and surrounds the lightbulb, projecting the light through the shade and into your room, effectively illuminating your space. Don't stop there though, this handy shade can be used to upgrade any old table or floor lamps that you may have lying around.

Our Stylist Says

I love this light's clean, modern look, making it a versatile choice for a variety of interiors. The pastel blue shade brings a subtle pop of colour without overwhelming the space, making it ideal for both contemporary and Scandi-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in kitchens, dining areas, or even cosy bedrooms where a soft touch of colour can create a calming atmosphere. When styling, I recommend pairing it with minimalist furnishings and light, natural materials to let the shade stand out. For a coordinated look, consider using matching or complementary pastel accents around the room to create a cohesive and fresh environment.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
