The Sarah Lavoine rug collection retraces both ancestral know-how and a love for colour and beautiful materials. Maison Sarah Lavoine revisits the famous checkerboard pattern in a superb palette of strong, current colours. This graphic patterned rug is the ideal item to add character while bringing colour to your interior. Hand-tufted in lavish wool, it will look great in your living room, hallway or dining room. Tufting is an ancestral method mainly developed in India and China. This artisanal manufacturing process is carried out by hand. The craftsman places the lengths of textile directly into a cotton frame on a stretched canvas, which is itself on a vertical loom. Tufting is then carried out using a thread gun following the colours, design and different heights of the fabric lengths. This technique provides greater thickness and comfort than traditional knotting. Care: for daily care, use a vacuum cleaner on low power following the direction of the hair. In the event of a stain, dab with a white, dry cloth. If the stain persists, call on a professional. If you need to move it, roll up your rug with the back facing out.
