Description

Design. The Dali Glass Tower Cabinet in Wine Red is versatile and stylish, ensuring it is the perfect storage addition to your office, dining area or living space. The deep red shade to the metal is a fantastic way to introduce a bold splash of colour to your room, plus keeping it well organised and tidy with four roomy shelves to store away belongings.

Our Stylist Says

I love this glass tower as a bold yet versatile addition to both contemporary and eclectic interiors. The striking red metal frame provides a pop of colour, making it a focal point in any room, while the glass display cabinets are perfect for showcasing cherished collectibles, tableware, or decorative pieces. It works particularly well in spaces that need a touch of colour or personality, such as a living room, dining area, or even a home office. When styling, consider combining its industrial vibe with softer textures or vintage accessories to create an engaging contrast. Practical tips include using the shelves for statement pieces or grouped treasures, and adding lighting inside to highlight your display - making it both functional and visually appealing.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
