I’m a fan of the Dakota corner TV unit for its light mango-wood finish and clever shape - it tucks neatly into a room’s footprint without feeling bulky. It suits Scandi and coastal schemes as well as relaxed contemporary spaces, where the natural grain adds warmth against white or muted walls.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
