I’d call this the chunky oak coffee table, and what I love most is its straightforward, solid-wood feel - the clean lines and visible grain work equally well in Scandi-inspired, modern-farmhouse or pared-back contemporary schemes. Its low, sturdy profile makes it a practical centrepiece for everyday living: you can group a shallow tray of candles and your most-used remotes on top, or stack a couple of coffee-table books beneath to play with height. Styling tip: anchor it with a neutral-tone rug that picks up the honeyed oak, then add texture through a woven basket beside it for throws or magazines. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
