Description

Style meets function in the contemporary Dakota Sofa and Footstool collection. Clean, simple lines and modern edges are designed to add an understated elegance to your living room. Create a cosy space for relaxing with a corner chaise and complete the look with a matching Dakota footstool.

Our Stylist Says

The Dakota 3 Seater Right Chaise works really well in modern and Nordic-style interiors thanks to its relaxed yet elegant look. I love the Earth Laundered Linen finish because it adds a soft, natural tone that complements a variety of colour schemes, especially neutral palettes or muted shades. For styling, I recommend keeping accessories minimal and cosy - think textured throws and a few patterned cushions to add visual interest. Its ample seating makes it a practical choice for family spaces or open-plan living rooms, and pairing it with a simple yet stylish coffee table keeps the setup understated but inviting. Overall, it’s a great sofa for creating a relaxed, contemporary vibe without sacrificing comfort.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
