Being the first wallpaper produced by Morris & Co Daisy was inspired by medieval illustrations. This Morris & Co design is true vintage with its daisy motif. William Morris created this design after embroidering daisy motifs onto wall-hangings for the Red House. This version is slightly different however still retains the drawn daisies and ranunculuses of the original wallpaper but has been simplified. The flora of this pattern contains a lot of detail that can be seen both from afar and up close with the dancing flowers layered over small blades of grass that add depth to the image in shades of blue on a ivory white background. Daisy draws you in and makes you feel relaxed which is why Daisy is perfect for a bedroom or living room space. This wallpaper is part of the Archive II Wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the paper and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match:Straight match. Vertical pattern repeat: 30.5cm.
The Daisy wallpaper in blue and ivory is a lovely choice for creating a soft, classic backdrop, especially in traditionally styled or vintage-inspired spaces. I love it because it adds subtle pattern and colour without overwhelming the room, making it versatile enough for bedrooms or cosy living areas. To style with this wallpaper, consider pairing it with neutral textiles or painted furniture in soft greys, whites, or muted blues to keep the look harmonious. Practical tips include opting for simple bedlinen and minimal accessories to let the wallpaper be the star, and ensuring the colours in your curtains and upholstery complement the blue ivory palette seamlessly. This look works particularly well in rooms where you want a calm, understated charm with a touch of pattern.
