Description

Inspired by the German Bauhaus movement and originally designed by Niels Hvass for an exhibition named ‘Walk the Plank’, the Cutter Bench is crafted by Danish design expert Skagerak. Fashioned from FSC-certified wood that is sourced from European, Southeast Asian, Central American and Brazilian forests, this strikingly contemporary bench is ideal for indoor and outdoor spaces alike. Its clean-lined silhouette showcases the expert craftsmanship and quality materials behind it. Skagerak infuses its 40-year experience crafting Nordic-inspired furniture into each design it creates. From its base in Denmark, it ensures each piece that leaves its workshop is finished to the finest possible standard.

Our Stylist Says

The cutter bench teak is a versatile piece that works beautifully both indoors and outdoors, thanks to its durable teak construction. I love how its clean, minimalist design brings a modern touch to a variety of interiors, from Scandinavian-inspired schemes to more industrial or rustic settings. It’s perfect as a statement piece in an entryway, a staging area in open-plan living, or paired with outdoor dining setups. Practical styling tips include using it as a base for natural accessories like baskets or books, or simply allowing its timber texture to stand out on its own. Its simple form makes it an adaptable and timeless addition that enhances any space without overwhelming it.
