I’m a fan of this burgundy velvet Chesterfield-style bed because its deep button-tufting and crystal-effect studs lift an otherwise simple bedroom scheme. It sits well in boudoir-inspired, Art Deco or contemporary luxe interiors, especially when paired with mirrored or metallic-framed furniture and muted wall tones.
For a balanced look, layer crisp white or dove-grey bedding and add a faux-fur throw at the foot. Use simple, slimline bedside lamps and keep decorative accents to a minimum so the rich colour and texture of the bed remain the focal point.
