Description

Illuminate your driveway or garden path gorgeously with the Crux Drive Over Ground Light in Stainless Steel. The stainless steel finish of this outdoor up light makes for a modern yet robust addition to your decking, with an IP67 rating for water resistance. The recessed design of this ground light makes for a minimalist addition to the outside of your home, as well as causing no disturbance when drove over.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the Crux Drive Over Ground Light combines sleek stainless steel with practical outdoor performance, making it a versatile choice for various settings. It works particularly well in modern minimalist or contemporary gardens, highlighting pathways or architectural features with subtle, understated lighting. Practical styling tips include placing a few along a paved path or driveway for both safety and visual interest, and pairing it with similar fixtures to create a cohesive look. Since it’s designed to be recessed, it’s perfect for installations that require a low-profile finish, keeping the focus on the landscape rather than the fixture itself.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
