Description
Handwoven from quality materials, this sophisticated rug dresses the floor with its soft, graphic identity. The Danish studio ''All the way to Paris'' sought to recall the retro, glamorous atmosphere that was once found in luxury cruise ships. The thin coloured lines form a delicate pattern referring to the sports areas set up on deck to entertain passengers. The designers of “All the way to Paris” explain: “The way people travelled in the past was so different from today, when we squeeze into a plane and arrive at our destination in just a few hours. In these cruises from another time, there were cocktails, games on deck, dinners, dancing and exciting new acquaintances. '' Made from high-quality wool with woven bamboo silk, the Cruise rug is adorned with shades inspired by travel: Aden Desert Beige and Bombay Golden Brown. This rug brings softness and warmth to the most minimalist decors. The rug is woven by hand, a production technique that produces a velvety, dense, soft surface. The sheen of the material is achieved by spinning a small amount of viscose into the wool fibres.
