Description

Make a refined statement with the Cross Check Jacquard Cushion in Blue, featuring an intricate woven pattern. The cool blue shade complements both modern and traditional interiors, offering a timeless aesthetic. This cushion is both stylish and comfortable, designed for everyday elegance.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cushion for its contemporary, textured jacquard pattern and versatile blue tone, which makes it a great choice for adding interest to neutral or monochrome interiors. It works particularly well in modern, coastal, or Scandinavian-style spaces, where clean lines and subtle patterns are key. Practical styling tips include pairing it with plain cushions in similar or contrasting shades to create a layered look, or using it as a statement piece on a light-coloured sofa. Its structured design also lends itself well to both casual and more polished settings, making it a flexible addition to lounge areas, bedrooms, or reading nooks.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
