Designed in their own studio in Stockholm, Nordic Knots’ handwoven rugs are high quality and timeless. They’ve got a minimal aesthetic, in muted tones and geometric patterns – just like the rugs found at the centre of Scandinavian homes. The Tiger Rug is inspired by the heritage of Nordic nomadic tattoos, designed in collaboration with tattoo artist Erik Lööf of Stockholm Classic Tattoo Studio. Its shaggy pile in hand-knotted, 100% New Zealand wool is luxe and long-lasting, giving your room a cosy feel.
I love the cream nomad rug for its versatile and contemporary design, which effortlessly balances playful details with a neutral palette. It works particularly well in relaxed, modern interiors or boho-inspired spaces, adding a touch of personality without overpowering the room. For styling, try pairing it with natural fibres like rattan or linen, and keep other accessories simple to let the pattern and colour stand out. It’s great for layering in living rooms or bedrooms where you want a cosy, inviting feel, and its gentle hue makes it easy to coordinate with a range of colour schemes. Practical tip: make sure to place it where it can be easily vacuumed and spot cleaned, as its light tone easily reveals dirt or spills.
