We partnered with Greek visual artist Leonie Yagdjoglou, to showcase a few of her vessel objects. This hand thrown object is part of a series of various vessels called Crazy Japan. They are inspired by the particular aesthetic and culture of Japan. Instead of the minimalistic character that usually prevails in Japan, strong brush strokes with vivid colors and black were intentionally applied.
I love this little vase for its bold, unconventional design-perfect for adding a splash of colour and personality to a space. The Crazy Japan Vase works really well in contemporary or eclectic interiors, where its artistic, almost painterly surface can be a standout feature. For styling tips, try pairing it with minimalistic surroundings to let it really pop, or group it with other ceramics and quirky accessories for a curated, layered look. It's also a practical piece for showcasing simple stems or greenery, but its true charm is in its visual statement, so don’t overdo the accessories-let the vase do the talking.
