A contemporary take on the classic Chesterfield design, our Craven sofa is lovingly handcrafted in the U.K. Featuring opulent scrolled arms and carved wooden feet, it is finished with beautiful deep-buttoning and optional stud detail for an elegant look. Please Note: This sofa comes with 5x pillow back cushions. You can select x2 cushions to be in any of the above accent fabrics, and x3 cushions in any of the relevant plain fabrics, dependent on your main body choice. The 2 smaller plain scatters will always arrive in which ever fabric you choose for the main body. Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.
Sustainability at the Forefront
From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.
Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
