I’m a fan of this two-door media unit in antique wax for its warm, natural pine look and simple panelling. It works brilliantly in country-style, farmhouse and coastal interiors, but its clean lines also suit more contemporary or transitional schemes. For styling, use the central shelf to house your AV kit or a stack of coffee-table books, and tuck remotes or cables away in a small wicker basket behind one of the doors. Top the unit with your TV in the centre, then balance each side with a low lamp and a plant or sculptural object. Keep wiring discreet by threading cables through the back panel, and consider adding matching baskets or wooden boxes inside the cupboards for neat concealed storage.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
