I’m a fan of this oak table for its clean lines and the contrast between the warm wood top and black metal legs. It sits equally well in industrial-inspired lofts, pared-back Scandi kitchens or modern country homes. For styling, mix and match seating - try a slim bench on one side and upholstered chairs at the ends. Keep linens neutral, add a simple runner or woven placemats and finish with a low plant or ceramic bowls to keep sightlines clear.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
