I’m a fan of the Elkstone bench for its simple lines and mellow oak tone - it feels right at home in both country-cottage and Scandi-style halls. The eight cubby holes make shoe storage look tidy, or you can slot in woven baskets to hide odds and ends. Top with a neutral cushion or slim bench pad for a quick seat, hang a round mirror overhead to bounce light, and add a small plant or ceramic vase at one end to keep the look fresh without crowding the surface.
