I’m a fan of this Cotswold console for its clean lines and warm oak-tone finish - it slips effortlessly into both modern farmhouse and more contemporary city flats. The two shallow drawers keep everyday clutter like keys and post out of sight, while the lower shelf is ideal for woven baskets or a neatly folded throw. In a hallway pair it with a slim mirror and a small lamp to maximise light, or use it behind a sofa as a handy drop-off point for drinks and magazines. Its compact depth means it won’t overwhelm narrower spaces, yet the solid build still feels substantial rather than flimsy.
