Our Stylist Says
I love this black outdoor dining chair for its sleek, minimalist design and durability, making it a versatile addition to any garden setting. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary outdoor spaces, where clean lines and monochrome palettes dominate. To style it effectively, pair it with a cosy, patterned cushion or a soft throws to add comfort and visual interest. It can also be combined with a variety of outdoor tables-whether wood or metal-for a practical, yet polished dining setup. Practical tips include keeping it protected with weatherproofing if left outside long-term, and layering with colourful tableware or planters nearby to soften the overall look and create a welcoming al fresco dining area.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
