Description
The emotionally strong giant Cosmic Angel pendant is the newest one born in the Cosmic family! Cosmic Angel collection, a great figure of organic and ecologic design created by Ross Lovegrove, embodies organic sensibility and arouses poetic sensations! The translucent diffuser of impressive size (L 178 x l 80 cm) with soft, organic lines gently flutters in the air. The rough, transparent thermoplastic surface looks like a reptile skin and features a beautiful geometric pattern. An exceptional play with materials and textures! The supple and irregular form seems to be constantly changing. Depending on the angle one looks from, it can be transformed, renewed, looks more or less thick and lying. Somewhere between contemporary art and design, this sculptural and aerial pendant takes un into a magic world of appealing reflective materials. Two powerful halogen sources (supplied) are places in the two aluminium bodies extending the diffuser. The light, directed upwards, is reflected by the diffuser. Its rough surface produces diffused, non dazzling light and guarantees optimal light reflection! The reflected light creates a subtle shade and light effects underlying the forms and revealing volumes. Exceptional design by Mr. Lovegrove!.
