Description

Add a touch of sophistication to your decor with the Corsica Throw, available in blush. This throw features a textured design that complements various interior styles in a range of beautiful soft pastel-like colours. Whether you want to create a cosy reading nook with a cuddle chair or enhance your bedding, this 127 x 152cm throw is a stylish choice.

Our Stylist Says

The Corsica Throw in blush is a versatile addition that brings warmth and texture to a variety of interiors. I love how its soft hue works well in both neutral and pastel schemes, adding a gentle touch of colour without overpowering the space. It’s perfect for layering over a sofa or bed for an inviting, cosy look. Styling tips include folding it neatly for an elegant finish or casually draping it to create a relaxed, lived-in feel. In terms of interiors, it pairs beautifully with contemporary, Scandi, or even traditional schemes - making it a practical choice for adding depth and comfort to any room.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
