It offers outstanding value for money that would be a welcome addition to any home. The item is finished off with black metal fittings which give a distinctive Mexican styling and offers that warm rustic country charm. I’m a fan of this little waxed pine bookcase because its warm, softly aged finish brings texture without overwhelming a room. It sits neatly into both country-style and more pared-back Scandi schemes, and the visible knots give it just enough character to work in eclectic or boho settings too.
For practical styling, mix hardcover volumes with a couple of slender plant pots or ceramic vases, and tuck woven storage baskets on the lower shelf to keep small items out of sight. Leave a little breathing space around each object (odd numbers usually look best) and you’ll end up with an organised, lived-in feel rather than a cluttered display.
