I’m a fan of this pine coffee table for its solid build and clever under-top compartment - perfect for tucking away throws, magazines or remotes. Its lightly distressed finish and simple lines suit both farmhouse or cottage interiors as well as more pared-back Scandi schemes.
For styling, keep the surface clutter-free with a small tray holding a couple of ceramics and a candle, then layer a textured rug underneath to ground the look. Inside, pop in woven baskets for throws or board games, and surround with soft linen sofas and plenty of greenery to balance the table’s warm, natural tone.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
