Description
This pair of high breakfast stools are made from responsibly sourced timber and finished in a choice of black wax and grey wax finishes with contrasting antique wax seat pads providing a fresh, modern look to a classic design. The piece is elevated through a rustic live natural edge on either side of the seat pad to bring real character to any room. Easy to build, easy to clean and easy on the eye. Suitable on their own or as additional seats in our two breakfast bar sets.

I’m particularly drawn to these live-edge black stools for the way the raw oak tops contrast with the sleek painted legs, giving a modern twist to a classic rustic shape. They sit at a perfect height for breakfast bars or kitchen islands and their clean lines mean they slot easily into Scandi-inspired, industrial or minimalist schemes without overwhelming the space.
For styling, pair them with a dark marble or concrete countertop and hang simple metal pendant lights above. A slim, neutral cushion or a woven runner draped over the seat will add a touch of comfort, while a couple of potted herbs on the bar keep the look fresh and functional.
