The item is expertly crafted from solid pine and hand waxed to protect, preserve as well as enhance the grain. With 2 drawers for extra storage the console table offers outstanding value for money that would be a welcome addition to any home. Finished off with decorative metal fittings which give the item its distinctive Mexican styling and offers that warm rustic country charm. I’m a fan of this grey-wax console for its warm, muted finish and solid oak top - it adds character without overwhelming a hallway or living room. It works equally well in contemporary country, coastal or Scandi-inspired schemes thanks to its simple lines and neutral palette. Styling tip: perch a round mirror or gallery wall above, then layer a slim table lamp, a small vase of foliage and a stack of books on one side. Use the drawers for keys and odds-and-sods, and place woven baskets or a pair of stools underneath to keep clutter out of sight.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
