The sturdy frame is complete with four smaller drawers and two deep drawers, perfect for keeping your items safe from dust and dirt. Each drawer is bevelled and adorned with wonderful black metal drop-pull handles for easy access. They have solid pine runners for a smooth opening, and its sturdy top surface is great for displaying decorative ornaments, floral bouquets or your favourite photo memories. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
